The Federal Appeals Court again rejected the FDA?s claim that, unlike other tobacco products, e-cigarettes are unapproved drug/device combinations under the FDCA. South Beach Smoke has issued a statement on the Federal case against Pogos Paul Sefilian, who was brought into custody by the FBI and charged with ?Interference with the Flight Crew? after they told him to put away his electronic cigarette on an airplane July 10th.

According to the US District Court in Utah case number: 2:11-MJ-172 DN, the flight crew approached Sefilian after he started using an an e-cigarette, like those offered at South Beach Smoke, and told him to put it away. After trying to explain that the product does not produce the same harmful or bothersome effects as traditional cigarettes to others, the passenger put the product away. Then minutes later, he resumed using the e-cigarette which prompted the flight attendant to ask him again to put it away. Sefilian was less cooperative at that point and resorted to throwing peanuts and pretzels as a way of showing his defiance.

When Sefilian?s flight arrived at its final destination, he was met by FBI agents who brought him into custody and charged him with Interfering with the Flight Crew.

E-Lites, who also sponsor the World 3B Championships 2011, is determined to be a driving force in the sport, and could hardly have chosen a better partner than BananaShark, with six British championships under its belt as a constructor, a Formula One British Championship and a pair of speed records at the hands of lynchpin John Cooke.

A recent experiment carried out by the independent electronic cigarette review website, http://www.ElectronicCigaretteAdvisor.com/ has revealed that ?smoking? an e-cigarette can make it easier to get talking to members of the opposite sex when out in pubs, clubs and bars.

The experiment was conducted in Sydney, Australia by Peter Johnson, the founder of Electronic Cigarette Advisor, who admitted that the investigation was undertaken, ?solely for entertainment purposes? as opposed to a proper scientific study, but added that he hoped his research would encourage current smokers to find out more about smoke-free e cigarettes.

The results of Johnson?s experiment were rather astonishing; the seven colleagues helping with the test were only approached twice out of a possible 35 scenarios (seven people each going to five bars) when without the e cigarette, however, when the seven people returned to each bar with the e cigarette they were spoken to an amazing 20 times out of 35.

?With those stats I suppose you could argue that ?smoking? an electronic cigarette in a bar makes it ten times more likely that someone will come over and start a chat with you ? they are quite an icebreaker!? laughed Johnson. ?I actually don?t find the results in the least bit surprising? continued Johnson ?People are always fascinated when I ?smoke? an electronic cigarette indoors at a pub or bar?
